Starlink Dish Installation & Network Integration
Professional Starlink dish mounting, cable routing and network integration for homes, estates and businesses. Sentry Audio Video assesses new installations, relocations, upgrades and existing-system problems.
Start with the Property and Your Internet Goals
Tell us whether Starlink will provide the main connection or serve as backup to an existing provider. We review the property, obstruction risk, equipment model, cable distances and intended router location before preparing a scope. Mounting work and network setup are planned together so the finished connection reaches the devices that need it.
Dish Mounting & Obstruction Assessment
Evaluate a suitable location with a clear view of the sky using the manufacturer’s guidance and available obstruction tools. Trees, roof geometry and neighboring structures can affect the installation. Roof, wall or pole mounting is selected for the property and hardware, with attachment and access requirements addressed before installation. Required permissions and structural or roofing coordination are included in the scope where applicable.
Cable Routing, Equipment Placement & Commissioning
Plan cable entry, weather sealing, interior routing, terminal connections and equipment placement. We follow the kit’s cable and mounting requirements and review power and service access. Commissioning includes a connection check, review of obstruction information and testing of the agreed network functions. Installation scope and materials are defined after the site assessment.
Connect Starlink to Your Existing Network
Integrate compatible routers, wired switches and Wi-Fi access points. We assess the kit’s Ethernet interface and any supported bypass or third-party router arrangement before changing the configuration. Existing cameras, smart-home controls, streaming devices and business systems are considered during the handoff. Starlink internet service and whole-property Wi-Fi coverage are separate parts of the design.
Starlink as Backup Internet
Use a compatible multi-WAN router to keep the existing internet provider as primary and Starlink as a backup where suitable. Health monitoring can trigger automatic switchover and supported recovery behavior. We test the configuration and explain session interruption, provider limits and power requirements. A second internet service must be active and reachable to provide useful backup.
Relocations, Upgrades, Repairs & Takeovers
Assess an existing dish, mounting, cable condition, power, obstruction issues and router configuration. We identify whether the solution is relocation, new cabling, a networking change or hardware replacement. Equipment faults requiring Starlink service are handled through the owner’s account and the applicable manufacturer process.
Installation Service Areas
Sentry has offices serving Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and New York. Property access, mounting conditions and scheduling are confirmed before accepting the installation scope. For marine use, see the dedicated boat and yacht installation page, where hardware, mounting and service-plan requirements are assessed separately.
Installation Questions
Do I need to buy a Starlink subscription?
The customer owns and manages the Starlink account and active subscription. We define installation, procurement coordination and activation assistance separately from provider service charges.
Will one router cover my entire house or office?
Coverage depends on building construction, layout and device needs. We assess additional wired access points or a suitable Wi-Fi design where needed.
Can you install a dish I already own?
We assess the kit model, condition, accessories and proposed location, then specify a compatible installation scope.
