SENTRY AUDIO VIDEO · MARINE & YACHT SYSTEMS
Marine Audio, Video, Cameras & Yacht Automation
Sentry Audio Video plans, installs, upgrades and services entertainment, networking and camera systems for boats and yachts in South Florida. Coordinate a new system, refit or takeover with one team and a defined scope.
Onboard Systems Built Around Your Vessel
For owners, captains and yacht managers, the first step is an onboard assessment: which spaces need entertainment, how guests and crew operate the system, what equipment can remain, and when the vessel is available for work. We coordinate marina or yard access and project responsibilities before scheduling installation.
A marine system has to work as a complete installation. Cabin layouts, equipment ventilation, electrical supply, cable routes and the difference between onboard playback and internet-dependent services all shape the design.
Marine Audio & Video
Plan salon, cabin and deck audio zones; TVs and source equipment; amplifiers, speakers and supported video distribution. We review installation location, noise, cable condition, mounting, power and service access before recommending replacements. Exterior audio equipment is selected for the actual exposure.
Boat & Yacht Cameras
Assess boarding areas, entrances, deck views and other agreed coverage priorities. Scope includes compatible cameras, recording storage, PoE and network capacity, permissions and remote viewing. We review salt spray, moisture, vibration, temperature and mounting requirements; an outdoor rating alone does not establish suitability for every marine location.
Control4 Yacht Entertainment & Automation
Bring compatible onboard audio, video and selected comfort functions into a defined control interface. Sentry can assess Control4 programming, remotes, touchscreens, source switching and supported integrations. For existing systems, we check controller condition, driver support, authorized access and the availability of the original program before proposing a takeover.
Crestron & Savant Marine Systems
Sentry Audio Video provides assessments for new Crestron and Savant yacht AV systems, equipment upgrades, repairs, programming and takeovers of installations completed by another company. The proposed scope follows an onboard review of the equipment, control platform, wiring and authorized access.
Crestron Yacht AV, Programming & Takeovers
Review existing processors, touchscreens, remotes, audio/video distribution and supported lighting or shade interfaces. We troubleshoot control and signal-path problems, assess compatible upgrade options, and plan programming for the agreed onboard functions. If the original source program is unavailable, we identify whether reprogramming is required before committing to a takeover scope.
Savant Yacht AV, Upgrades & Service
Assess the host, user interfaces, audio zones, video sources, network and supported integrations. We review account access, software and hardware compatibility, and system documentation before planning a new installation, selective upgrade, repair or takeover. Equipment sales and replacements are specified for the vessel’s assessed requirements.
Keep Useful Equipment and Restore Reliable Operation
A marine takeover starts with an equipment inventory, an assessment of existing programming and a list of owner and crew priorities. The proposal explains what can remain, what needs replacement, which integrations are supported, and how the system will be commissioned and documented. Manufacturer suitability, installation conditions and any factory hardware repair requirements are reviewed for the specific project.
Kaleidescape Movie Systems for Yachts
Plan movie playback for a salon cinema or compatible cabin entertainment system. We assess player and storage options, display and audio compatibility, control integration and the download workflow. Internet access is needed for downloads and connected services; the proposed design distinguishes local movie playback from online functions. Content availability, account eligibility and marine use are confirmed with the manufacturer for the vessel and itinerary.
Kaleidescape Certified Integrator: Brian Zeidman
Brian Zeidman has been a Kaleidescape dealer for over 10 years. Certification is valid for two years and must be renewed every two years to remain current.
Sentry Audio Video is led by Brian Zeidman, who completed Kaleidescape Dealer Certification on October 13, 2026. His Certified Integrator credential is valid through October 12, 2028.
Lutron Lighting & Shades
Review supported lighting scenes, dimming, keypads and motorized shades for yacht interiors. Electrical loads, dimming protocols, supply characteristics, mounting and control compatibility determine the suitable Lutron design. Work is coordinated with the vessel’s qualified electrical team where required.
Josh.ai Voice & Touch Control
Josh.ai can be evaluated as an optional control layer for supported entertainment and comfort systems. We verify device and platform compatibility, manufacturer suitability, onboard connectivity, account requirements and cabin noise before including it. The proposal identifies which functions depend on internet service and provides an appropriate manual control option.
Marine Security Systems & Alarm Takeovers
Sentry Audio Video assesses new boat and yacht security installations, equipment sales, upgrades, repairs and takeovers of existing systems. We review the vessel’s access points, onboard equipment and owner or captain priorities before proposing a supported alarm, camera and notification plan.
Intrusion Alarms & Access Notifications
Plan compatible door or hatch contacts, intrusion sensors, local alerts and supported access notifications for the agreed spaces. Sensor suitability, placement, vessel movement, moisture, power and network conditions are assessed before equipment selection. We define arming procedures and authorized access for owners and crew, with clear operating instructions at handoff.
Security Upgrades, Repairs & Takeovers
Review existing panels, sensors, cameras, recorders, wiring and communication equipment. We diagnose reported faults, assess which components can remain, and identify compatible replacements or reprogramming. A takeover includes authorized account access, user permissions, documentation and testing of the functions included in the proposal.
Cameras, Recording & Remote Viewing
Coordinate camera coverage and recording with the security plan where compatible. Review boarding views, entrances, recording retention, playback and authorized remote viewing. Existing coax or network wiring is tested before reuse; adapters or replacement cabling are specified only after checking compatibility and condition.
Alarm Communications & Monitoring Assessment
Review the available internet or cellular connection and supported notification paths. Remote alerts and viewing depend on connectivity, system configuration and service availability at the vessel’s location. Any central-station monitoring option is confirmed with the monitoring provider for the specific vessel, communication equipment and response arrangements before being offered.
A Defined Security Scope for Your Vessel
Send the vessel location, current equipment, reported problems and your priorities. We coordinate access with the owner or captain, assess the installation and prepare a scope for new equipment, upgrades, repair or takeover. The proposal identifies ongoing service requirements and the tests performed before handoff.
Marine Networking, Remote Viewing & Security
Review wired and wireless coverage, camera recording, authorized remote access and supported intrusion or access notifications. A network assessment considers existing routers, switches, access points and the vessel’s internet handoff. Remote viewing depends on the available connection and system configuration. Any access-control or alarm integration is assessed individually with the captain or owner.
Marine AV Upgrades, Repairs, Programming & Takeovers
For Control4, Crestron, Savant, Kaleidescape, camera and networking systems, keep useful equipment where condition and compatibility allow. We document the system, troubleshoot audio/video signal paths and networking, assess software and programming access, and prepare a defined repair or upgrade proposal. Manufacturer repair or replacement is coordinated when hardware service is required. Navigation, propulsion and other vessel safety systems remain under the responsible marine specialists.
Marine AV & Camera Questions
Can you work on a system another installer installed?
Yes. We assess the equipment, wiring, documentation and authorized access before proposing a repair, upgrade or takeover.
Can you reuse existing boat camera wiring?
We test the wiring and compare it with the proposed camera and recording system. Reuse, adapters or new cabling are specified only after that assessment.
Will remote viewing and voice control work while cruising?
Availability depends on connectivity, coverage and the supported system configuration. We explain those dependencies and test the agreed onboard functions before handoff.
How do we start a marine installation or refit?
Send your vessel location, equipment list or photos, priorities and available work dates. We arrange an assessment and provide a scope covering equipment, integration, installation and commissioning.
