Sentry Audio Video is a family-owned audio, video, automation, networking and security integration company serving custom homes, estates, condominiums and businesses in South Florida and New York. Led by principal Brian Zeidman, Sentry AV brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience to new construction, renovation, retrofit, repair and system-takeover projects.

Sentry Audio Video, LLC is led by principal Brian Zeidman. The company is family-owned, and our work reflects the accountability that comes with putting our name behind every design, installation and service call. Clients work with a team that understands both high-end new projects and the less glamorous realities of technology: failed equipment, poor documentation, unreliable Wi-Fi, unfinished programming and systems left behind by another integrator.
We do not believe a project ends when the rack powers on. Training, testing, documentation and support are part of the system. When an existing installation needs help, our service and repair team can assess the system, identify the actual failure points and provide a practical path forward.

New Construction, Renovation and System Takeovers
During new construction, Sentry AV works with builders, architects, interior designers, electricians and other trades before walls close. Early coordination protects sight lines, preserves interior details and ensures that wiring, shade pockets, equipment locations, access points, cameras, speakers and control devices are planned instead of improvised.
Renovations and retrofits require a different kind of discipline. We survey what is already in place, determine what can remain and identify where infrastructure must be corrected. The goal is not to replace equipment simply because it is older. The goal is to create a reliable, supportable system with a clear upgrade path.
We also take over systems installed by other companies. A takeover may involve restoring access, documenting the network and rack, replacing failed processors, cleaning up programming, improving Wi-Fi, adding rooms or bringing lighting, cameras and access control into a coordinated plan. Clients do not need to stay with the company that originally installed the system in order to get qualified help.
Florida and New York
Our South Florida work includes Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Palm Beach, Gulf Stream, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and surrounding communities. Our New York division serves Massapequa and Long Island, Manhattan, the Hamptons, Sag Harbor and Montauk, with service also extending to Greenwich, Connecticut.

Licensed Low-Voltage Integration
Sentry Audio Video, LLC holds Florida low-voltage license EF20001874. Licensing matters when a project includes structured wiring, surveillance, security, access control and other low-voltage systems that affect the safety, reliability and long-term serviceability of a property.
It also gives builders, designers and homeowners one accountable technology partner for multiple connected systems instead of a collection of vendors who only understand their own piece of the project.
Service After the Installation
Technology needs ongoing support. Networks change, software evolves, streaming devices are replaced and homes gain new rooms or new owners. Sentry AV supports both systems we installed and compatible systems installed by others. We troubleshoot the full chain—from power and cabling to network performance, programming and endpoint equipment—so the repair addresses the cause rather than only the symptom.
