Control4 troubleshooting, dealer changes and upgrades
If your Miami home has Control4 but the experience has become unreliable, start with a documented review of the controller, network, interfaces and affected rooms.
The remote works intermittently
Check its power and connections, communication with the controller and the room’s equipment before replacing parts.
A television turns on but the wrong source plays
Review source commands, switching, device connections and the programmed room behavior.
App access or ownership needs to change
Confirm owner authorization and the account or dealer-transfer requirements; document the service handoff.
You want newer control hardware
Review current software, controller capacity, device compatibility and any required licenses or subscriptions before quoting.
Can you keep my existing speakers and televisions?
Often they can remain if they are functional and support the proposed design. We confirm connections, control options and signal requirements during the assessment, then list retained and replacement equipment in the proposal.
Your assessment leads to a written plan: equipment inventory, the problems being addressed, reusable components, required hardware or software, programming responsibilities and the functions to be tested. Diagnostic charges and availability are confirmed when scheduling.
New Control4 systems
A new Control4 system starts with the rooms, lighting, shades, entertainment sources and daily routines you want to control. We plan the controller, interfaces, wired and wireless network, rack space and cabling with the project team before choosing equipment.
Control4 upgrades and repair
Review the controller and software, device compatibility, remote access and the network before promising an upgrade. Separate an equipment problem from a programming or connectivity problem. The proposal identifies retained devices and any functions that require replacement equipment.
Miami homes, condominiums and renovation projects
Miami condominium work needs a plan for wiring access, equipment locations and building schedules. In a house renovation, reserve rack cooling, display pathways and keypad positions early. A new system should be designed around the rooms and routines rather than a copied equipment package.
Miami Beach condominium and waterfront-home work
In Miami Beach, distinguish the condominium interior from the building systems before defining the job. Waterfront residences also need separate planning for exterior audio, network coverage and equipment exposure. We coordinate the approved scope with the owner, designer and building team.
Takeovers of systems installed by others
Start with equipment identification, access credentials, available documentation and a list of the failures or changes you want addressed. We assess what remains useful, explain support limitations and quote repair, expansion or replacement. The scope includes documentation and an owner handoff.

Frequently asked questions
Can you take over Control4 installed by another company?
Yes. We first assess the controller, software, account access, connected equipment and network. We then define a repair or upgrade scope and explain which existing devices can remain and which functions require changes.
Can you work in a condominium?
Yes, subject to the building’s access and work requirements. We review wiring routes, equipment space and scheduling with the project team before defining the scope. Unit systems and building-wide systems are treated as separate responsibilities.
What should I send before the visit?
Send the property city, a description of the project or failures, equipment photos if available, and any drawings or system documentation you own. Share passwords through an agreed secure process rather than a general contact-form message.
Do you support the system after installation?
Yes. We define the support and maintenance scope for the installed equipment, including any planned visits, documentation and remote-service options. Coverage, response arrangements and included work are set out in the service agreement.
Request a Control4 site survey
Tell us whether the property is in Miami or Miami Beach, whether this is a new Control4 system or an existing one, and the functions you want added or fixed. We begin with a site review, provide a design and quote, then complete the agreed installation or service, testing and handoff.
