Need help with an RTI remote or an existing RTI control system? Sentry Audio Video evaluates programming, equipment changes, unreliable controls and takeover projects for homes and businesses in Boca Raton and South Florida. We begin with the installed system and available project files, then define a practical repair, update or replacement scope.
Request an RTI System Assessment
Send your city, remote and processor model numbers if known, equipment photos and a short description of the problem. Mention whether the original programmer is available and whether you have a backup of the project.
Request RTI Service or call (561) 717-3280.
RTI Sales, New Installations and Equipment Upgrades
Planning a new media room, a replacement remote or a larger control system? Sentry scopes RTI equipment supply, installation, programming and training around the rooms and devices you want to operate. Equipment availability, software access and compatibility are confirmed before ordering.
For an upgrade, we review the existing remotes, processor, drivers, wiring and network. The proposal identifies equipment that can remain, hardware to replace and the programming required to connect new televisions, audio components or supported home systems. A remote-only replacement and a complete processor migration have different requirements; we explain those differences before you commit.
Request an RTI sales or upgrade proposal. Include your city, room count, current equipment and desired timeline.
RTI Troubleshooting, Programming Changes and Equipment Updates
A remote that no longer controls the television may have a programming problem, a disconnected emitter, a network change or a failed component elsewhere in the rack. We assess the complete control path before recommending replacement.
- Buttons or activities that start the wrong source or leave equipment powered on
- Remote, touchscreen or processor communication problems
- Changes after replacing a television, receiver, streaming device or router
- Room labels, source selection, volume control and activity sequences that need correction
- Network, power, rack ventilation and wiring conditions affecting reliability
Taking Over an RTI System Installed by Another Company
Bought a home with RTI or lost contact with the installer? A takeover starts with owner-authorized access, an equipment inventory and a review of the available programming. RTI systems use Integration Designer project files; the correct software, hardware generation and driver support must be checked before modifications are promised.
If the original project is unavailable, we assess the options and explain whether rebuilding programming, retaining selected equipment or moving to another control platform is practical. We confirm diagnostic charges and the proposed work before making changes.
Repair, Expand or Modernize?
Keep useful speakers, amplification, displays and cabling when their condition and compatibility support the project. For a broader renovation, plan the control system alongside lighting, shades, networking and audio video. Compare our Control4 systems, Savant installations and Crestron Home services if a platform change is worth evaluating.

RTI Service Questions
Can you update RTI after a television replacement?
We first check the display model, control method, existing programming and processor. The proposal then identifies programming and any hardware changes required.
Does an RTI problem mean the entire system must be replaced?
No. The cause may be a limited equipment, wiring or programming issue. An assessment establishes whether repair or modernization makes better sense.
What should I send before a service visit?
Your location, model numbers or photos, affected rooms, recent equipment changes and any project backups. Do not send passwords through the inquiry form.
