RESTAURANTS · BARS · HOSPITALITY

Opening a restaurant, updating a bar or taking over an existing venue? Sentry Audio Video supplies and installs TVs, distributed audio, control systems, Wi-Fi and security technology for Miami and Miami Beach hospitality businesses. We plan around your service areas, staff workflow, opening schedule and the experience you want guests to have.

TVs and sports-bar video distribution

Define how many displays need independent programming and which screens should operate as groups. We review display positions, viewing distances, mounting surfaces, source locations, cabling and staff controls before specifying the system.

For a sports bar, a source-and-screen plan makes it clear how staff will select games and manage audio. The proposal identifies displays, distribution equipment, controls and testing. Commercial content subscriptions and viewing permissions are arranged separately by the operator.

Music, microphones and independent audio zones

Dining rooms, bars, private rooms and patios may need different volume levels and source choices. We plan speaker coverage, amplifier capacity, controls and any agreed microphone inputs around the room layout and intended use.

Outdoor equipment is selected after reviewing exposure, mounting and cable routes. We discuss operating requirements with management, including how staff should change sources, adjust levels and open or close the system. Music licensing is separate from equipment installation.

Reliable staff and guest networking

Review Wi-Fi coverage, device capacity and wired connections for the equipment your business depends on. Guest access, staff systems, AV, cameras and other connected devices need agreed network boundaries and management responsibilities.

We coordinate with your IT and point-of-sale providers before promising integrations or changes. Cabling, switching, access points, rack organization and protected power are specified as part of the approved scope. Explore UniFi networking and structured cabling.

Cameras, burglar alarms and property access

Plan camera views and recording around approved operational areas, and review burglar-alarm protection for doors, stock rooms and after-hours operation. Access control can be assessed for supported staff or management entry requirements.

Fire-alarm requirements are reviewed as a separate life-safety scope with the project team. Door hardware, egress, permits and any interfaces require the appropriate project-specific coordination.

Crestron and practical everyday controls

For suitable projects, we evaluate Crestron, Control4, Savant and Lutron to coordinate AV, lighting or shades. The right control system depends on the installed equipment and the functions your staff needs. Explore Crestron installation and service.

Before handoff, test the opening, service and closing routines included in the scope. Staff training should use real tasks: choosing a source, changing one zone, managing a display group and reporting a fault.

New openings, renovations and existing venues

Share the opening date, construction schedule, floor plan and contractor contacts early. We coordinate pathways, equipment locations, mounting and changeovers with your team. For an operating venue, agree service-hour restrictions and planned outages before work starts.

An existing-system assessment identifies useful equipment, missing documentation and the changes required. We provide a written scope for new sales, upgrades or service, with third-party costs and ongoing support defined separately.

Miami and Miami Beach project coordination

Serving Miami, Miami Beach, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Doral, Aventura, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach and surrounding communities. Confirm the project address, property use, management contacts and access requirements when requesting a site visit. These are service areas, not additional offices.

Common project questions

Can you quote the complete restaurant technology package?

Yes. We can review AV, networking, cameras, alarms and access together, with each part and its responsibilities clearly identified in the written scope.

Can you work with our existing TVs or speakers?

We assess their condition, compatibility and suitability before including them. The proposal identifies retained and new equipment.

Can you help before the venue opens?

Yes. Send the plans and target opening date so wiring, equipment lead times, access and commissioning can be coordinated with the build.

Request a commercial site assessment

Tell us the property address, business type, target schedule and whether you need a new system, replacement, expansion or service. Include the brand and symptoms if equipment is already installed.
