Older masonry, additions, impact glass and neighboring wireless networks can create uneven coverage. Sentry evaluates the internet handoff, router, switches, cabling and access-point placement. We build managed networks with separate traffic for automation, cameras, guests and household devices when the property requires it.

Lighting and whole-home control

Control4, Savant and Crestron can coordinate entertainment, lighting, climate, shades and selected security functions through consistent interfaces. Lutron lighting scenes reduce wall clutter and simplify everyday use. For renovations, planning loads, keypad locations and fixture compatibility early prevents expensive changes later.

Security cameras, alarms and controlled entry

Security design should reflect actual entrances, service areas, driveways, side yards and outdoor living spaces. We plan camera placement, recording retention, alerts, network capacity and user permissions together. Gates, door access and monitored intrusion can be coordinated within the applicable licensed scope.

Takeovers without automatic replacement

If the original installer disappeared or the system changed hands with the property, we can perform a documented diagnostic visit. We test the network, processors, accounts and connected equipment, then explain what can remain and what is causing instability. Working equipment is not replaced simply because Sentry did not install it.
