Building access from the lobby to the garage
High-rise and multi-tenant properties may need visitor entry at the lobby, controlled doors for residents and staff, parking access, package delivery, elevator permissions and camera coverage. We plan those workflows as one property system rather than replacing an intercom without considering the rest of the building.
Systems for occupied buildings
- Video intercom replacement and modernization
- Cloud-managed doors and tenant credentials
- Visitor passes and delivery entry
- Garage, vehicle gate and pedestrian access
- Elevator coordination for authorized-floor workflows
- Package-room, amenity and staff-area access
- Camera, network and structured-cabling coordination
Takeovers and phased modernization
Some buildings have multiple generations of access panels, intercoms, readers and credentials. Sentry documents the installed condition and develops a migration plan. Compatible infrastructure may remain; unsupported or unreliable components are identified clearly.
Commercial and multifamily coordination
We work with property managers, association boards, developers, general contractors, electrical contractors, door-hardware providers, gate companies and elevator contractors. The low-voltage scope identifies who supplies and connects each part of the system so responsibilities are not discovered after installation begins.
Frequently asked questions
Can ButterflyMX be used in a Fort Lauderdale or Miami high-rise?
Yes, subject to the building design and compatible entry infrastructure. The site survey should include the lobby, parking, elevators, service entrances, amenity areas, network and management workflow.
Can you replace only the intercom first?
Sometimes. A phased project may start with the visitor entrance and expand to other doors, garages or elevators. The initial design should still account for the future system so the property does not create another isolated platform.
Can access events be coordinated with cameras?
Compatible camera and access systems can be designed together so property staff can review entry activity more efficiently. Exact capabilities depend on supported integrations and the selected surveillance platform.
