COMMERCIAL SURVEILLANCE · MIAMI & MIAMI BEACH
Sentry Audio Video sells, installs and services commercial security camera systems for Miami and Miami Beach businesses, restaurants, retail locations, condominium common areas and managed properties. We plan coverage, recording and authorized access around the way your property operates, then provide a defined equipment and installation proposal.
Buy the system around the coverage you need
Start with the views that matter: entrances, reception, loading areas, cash-handling locations, corridors, parking or other approved areas. A site review considers mounting positions, lighting, obstructions, exterior exposure and available cable routes. The camera count alone does not define useful coverage.
We discuss camera and recorder options, network requirements, storage capacity and the intended retention period. Digital Watchdog, Speco, Luma and UniFi Protect are among the platforms we can evaluate for the project; the recommendation depends on the property, required features and supported configuration.
Installation, recording and staff handoff
The written scope identifies devices, mounts, cabling, PoE requirements, recorder or storage configuration and any agreed remote access. We coordinate building access, lift requirements, operating hours and locations that require management approval before work begins.
Commissioning should demonstrate the agreed views, recording, playback, export and authorized user access. Management receives instruction on daily operation and the responsibilities included in any continuing service arrangement. Credentials are handed over through an agreed secure process.
Replace failing equipment or expand an existing system
If cameras are offline, recordings are missing or remote viewing has stopped working, share the system brand, equipment photos and symptoms. We assess the recorder, cameras, network and available access before recommending repairs or a replacement.
Expansion work considers the installed platform, supported cameras, recorder capacity and cable condition. A proposal separates reusable equipment from required changes rather than assuming every device must be replaced.
Maintenance and recording-health reviews
Ask about planned service covering the checks agreed for your site. The scope can define recording checks, fault reporting, authorized-access reviews and how service requests are handled. Maintenance, remote health checks and live video monitoring are different services; the agreement identifies what is included.
Property management should approve camera locations, access rights and retention practices. We coordinate with your authorized contacts so the system has a clear owner after installation.
Connect cameras with the complete commercial project
Plan surveillance alongside burglar alarms, access control, fire alarms and structured cabling. For guest-facing venues, explore our restaurant and bar systems.
Miami and Miami Beach project coordination
Serving Miami, Miami Beach, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Doral, Aventura, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach and surrounding communities. Confirm the project address, property use, management contacts and access requirements when requesting a site visit. These are service areas, not additional offices.
Common project questions
Can you design a new commercial camera system?
Yes. Share the address, property type, approximate layout and areas to cover. We review the site before specifying cameras, recording and installation.
Do you work on camera systems installed by someone else?
We assess the brand, equipment condition, account ownership and access before confirming service or takeover options.
Does installation include ongoing monitoring?
Only if the written agreement expressly includes it. Equipment installation, maintenance and live monitoring are scoped separately.
Request a commercial site assessment
Tell us the property address, business type, target schedule and whether you need a new system, replacement, expansion or service. Include the brand and symptoms if equipment is already installed.
