SENTRY AUDIO VIDEO / VIDEO + LIGHTING + ACTIVE DETERRENCE
Luminys camera sales, installation, upgrades & service
Sentry Audio Video sells, installs, upgrades and services Luminys cameras and recording systems. We design coverage and supported deterrence features for homes, estates and businesses, with careful attention to nighttime images, alerts and the people using the system.
BUILT AROUND YOUR PROPERTY
More than recording what happened.
We work with Luminys IP cameras, compatible NVRs and supported LumiDeterrent and LumiSearch features. Your proposal starts with what you need to see, how long you need to keep it and who should have access—not a one-size-fits-all equipment package.
Day and night coverage
Select cameras and illumination for the actual scene. Reflections, landscaping, lighting levels and mounting position all affect useful nighttime video.
Active deterrence
Configure supported warning lights, audio and schedules on compatible LumiDeterrent models, with consideration for neighbors and nuisance alerts.
Recording and search
Size the compatible recorder and storage, then verify which search and analytic features are supported by the camera/NVR combination.
FROM THE FIRST WALKTHROUGH TO ONGOING CARE
Everything Sentry can handle
Sales and system design
A site assessment, camera schedule, lens and mounting decisions, equipment selection, recording design and an itemized installation scope.
Installation and wiring
Camera mounting, Cat6 and PoE infrastructure, tested connections, weather-appropriate installation and coordination of any separately required electrical work.
Upgrades and expansion
Sharper coverage where useful, additional cameras, recorder or server modernization, storage changes and a staged migration from older equipment.
Takeovers and troubleshooting
Help with offline cameras, missing recordings, poor night images, time/date errors, app access, network faults and systems installed by another company.
Configuration and training
Recording schedules, supported analytic rules, sensible notifications, privacy masks, authorized user access, playback, export and owner or staff training.
Maintenance and repair support
Recording and drive-health checks, lens cleaning, configuration backups, planned firmware review, failed-device replacement and eligible manufacturer repair coordination.
ALREADY HAVE A SYSTEM?
You do not have to start over to get dependable service.
An active-warning system should be designed around who may enter, when alerts should trigger and what the owner expects to happen next. We test normal activity and nighttime conditions, and explain that a camera warning is not the same as live guard intervention or professional monitoring.
We confirm ownership and authorized administrative access before account or recorder changes. A service visit can produce a practical repair, improvement or replacement recommendation—even when the original installer is unavailable.
Designed for real conditions, not just a live demo
See what matters
Check identification distance, glare and nighttime performance. Plate capture is a specialized use case, not an automatic benefit of a 4K camera.
Keep useful recordings
Plan bitrate, storage, retention, power protection and what happens when internet or utility power is interrupted.
Control access
Use individual accounts, available security controls and documented permissions. AI alerts can miss events or generate false alarms; they are not a guarantee of prevention.

Luminys service questions
Can you service equipment another company installed?
Yes. Sentry can assess an existing Luminys system with owner authorization. Supportability depends on device age, software, credentials, equipment condition and access to any required licenses.
Can you repair a failed camera or recorder?
We diagnose power, cabling, network and configuration faults, replace failed equipment where appropriate and coordinate eligible manufacturer repairs. We do not promise board-level repairs or free warranty coverage without checking eligibility.
Can you connect cameras to my smart-home or access-control system?
We review the actual controller, driver, firmware and recording platform. Live video, playback, events and door access are different functions; each must be verified before being included in the scope.
What about licenses, subscriptions and maintenance?
Optional services, cloud capabilities and ongoing maintenance are quoted explicitly. Compliance requirements are checked against the exact model and current manufacturer documentation; we do not imply blanket compliance or certification across a brand.
Do you offer service plans and commercial installations?
Yes. Ask about a defined maintenance scope for homes, businesses, HOAs or managed properties. Visit frequency, remote access, response expectations and any monitoring services are agreed in writing; 24/7 response is not included unless expressly contracted.
