Choose turrets, bullets, domes or specialty cameras for the actual viewing distance, lighting and architectural requirements.
Local recording
Size a compatible console or NVR, hard drives and network capacity for camera count, resolution and desired retention. Storage duration is calculated, not assumed.
AI and event search
Configure supported detections and search functions on compatible hardware and software. Person detection, plate capture and other advanced use cases require different design decisions.

ALREADY HAVE A SYSTEM?
You do not have to start over to get dependable service.
We can assess systems already adopted into another UniFi account, document the installation and plan a legitimate ownership transfer with the owner and previous provider. We do not bypass account security. Existing third-party camera reuse is evaluated individually; a video stream alone does not guarantee equivalent analytics or controls.
We confirm ownership and authorized administrative access before account or recorder changes. A service visit can produce a practical repair, improvement or replacement recommendation—even when the original installer is unavailable.

Can you service equipment another company installed?
Yes. Sentry can assess an existing Ubiquiti UniFi Protect system with owner authorization. Supportability depends on device age, software, credentials, equipment condition and access to any required licenses.
Can you repair a failed camera or recorder?
We diagnose power, cabling, network and configuration faults, replace failed equipment where appropriate and coordinate eligible manufacturer repairs. We do not promise board-level repairs or free warranty coverage without checking eligibility.
Can you connect cameras to my smart-home or access-control system?
We review the actual controller, driver, firmware and recording platform. Live video, playback, events and door access are different functions; each must be verified before being included in the scope.
What about licenses, subscriptions and maintenance?
Local Protect recording is a core design option. Optional cloud, support or other services are separately identified; do not confuse Sentry maintenance with manufacturer subscriptions.
Do you offer service plans and commercial installations?
Yes. Ask about a defined maintenance scope for homes, businesses, HOAs or managed properties. Visit frequency, remote access, response expectations and any monitoring services are agreed in writing; 24/7 response is not included unless expressly contracted.
