BUSINESS SECURITY · MIAMI & MIAMI BEACH

Protecting a business starts with understanding how it operates. Sentry Audio Video plans, supplies and installs commercial burglar alarm systems for offices, shops, restaurants, bars and managed properties in Miami and Miami Beach. Whether you are opening a location, replacing aging equipment or taking over an existing space, we start with a site review and a written scope.

New alarm sales and installation

Tell us about the premises, opening hours, entrances, stock areas and the people responsible for arming the system. We review door and window protection, interior detection, keypad locations, supported communication options and the proposed response process before recommending equipment.

A new-system proposal identifies equipment, installation, configuration, testing and user handoff. It also separates optional upgrades and ongoing services so management can compare the initial project with recurring costs. For a fit-out or renovation, we coordinate cable routes and device locations before finishes close.

Service, replacements and existing-system takeovers

Already have an alarm? Share the panel model, available service records, fault messages and the changes you need. Sentry assesses supported Honeywell, Resideo, Napco and other existing systems before proposing a repair, replacement or takeover. Compatibility, account access and communication options must be confirmed for the installed equipment.

We document what can be retained and what needs attention. A takeover proposal can separate immediate repairs from later modernization, additional detection or new user controls.

Make monitoring and user responsibilities clear

Equipment installation and central-station monitoring are separate parts of the scope. Ask us to review available monitoring arrangements, communication paths, contact lists and ongoing charges. Any dispatch process, permits or registration requirements should be confirmed for the specific premises and service arrangement.

Before handoff, agree who can arm or disarm, who maintains the contact list, how staff changes are handled and how faults are reported. Testing and staff instruction cover the functions included in your approved proposal.

Coordinate the rest of the property

Combine the alarm project with commercial security cameras, access control and intercoms and network wiring. Fire-alarm work has its own assessment, scope and approval requirements. Each system should have a documented purpose and a clear management handoff.

Miami and Miami Beach project coordination

Serving Miami, Miami Beach, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Doral, Aventura, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach and surrounding communities. Confirm the project address, property use, management contacts and access requirements when requesting a site visit. These are service areas, not additional offices.

Common project questions

Can you quote a new business alarm?

Yes. Send the address, business type, floor plan if available, opening date and the areas you need covered. We will identify what is needed for a site assessment and proposal.

Can you reuse an existing alarm?

We assess the equipment, wiring, condition and authorized access first. Retained equipment and any limitations are identified in the proposal.

Can work be scheduled around business hours?

Tell us your operating schedule. We review access, testing and planned interruptions with management before agreeing the work window.

Request a commercial site assessment

Tell us the property address, business type, target schedule and whether you need a new system, replacement, expansion or service. Include the brand and symptoms if equipment is already installed.
