The project
A private retreat with a different personality after dark.
In Boca Raton, outdoor living deserves the same attention as the rooms inside. For this luxury estate, Sentry Audio Video installed a combination of colored landscape lighting, outdoor entertainment, amplified audio, and security systems—all controlled through Control4.
The project footage captures the atmosphere: palms washed in vibrant color, illuminated planting beds, and rich reflections across the poolside setting. FX Luminaire colored landscape lighting and color-changing soffit recessed lights formed part of the installation, giving the outdoor environment a distinctive nighttime presence.
Beyond the lighting, the scope included a SunBrite outdoor television, recessed speakers, custom in-ground planter speakers, and AudioControl amplification. PTZ security cameras and outdoor pool-alarm detection around the estate’s perimeter gates completed the described security scope.
Lighting that defines the evening
Architecture, landscaping, and color in conversation.
Color-changing soffit lights
Recessed high-hat fixtures in the soffits extend color lighting to the home’s exterior, complementing the landscape installation.
Control4 control
Control4 brings the installed lighting, entertainment, and security functions into the estate’s control environment.
Entertainment beyond the walls
Music in the landscape. Entertainment in the open air.
A SunBrite outdoor TV adds a dedicated outdoor viewing experience. Recessed speakers and custom in-ground planter speakers carry the audio installation into the outdoor living areas and landscaping, supported by AudioControl amplification.
The result is an outdoor space with more than visual impact: a setting for music, television, and evenings spent outside, with Control4 providing the common control platform.
Security in the project scope
Entertainment and protection, planned together.
PTZ security cameras
Pan-tilt-zoom cameras were included in the estate’s security installation, alongside the outdoor lighting and entertainment systems.
Pool-area alarm detection
Outdoor pool-alarm detection was installed around the perimeter gates of the estate.
One coordinated control platform
Control4 ties the project’s installed technology into a coordinated control environment for everyday use.
