Planning a new home or renovation? Explore Savant system design, equipment sales and installation. For a system already in the property, use our Savant upgrade and takeover service path so the review starts with the existing host, interfaces, network and available records.

Savant service for the problems you actually notice
A Savant takeover should start with how the system behaves in each room. We separate host, network, source and interface issues before proposing new equipment.
A remote or touchscreen stops controlling the room
Check power, connectivity, room assignments and the supported interface before selecting a replacement.
An Apple TV or other source has picture or sound problems
Trace the approved signal path, HDMI connections, extenders, switching and audio routing; identify the affected source and display combination.
Some speakers play while others remain silent
Review source selection, amplifier channels, zone assignments and wiring. Existing Sonos or other audio equipment is assessed for supported integration rather than assumed compatible.
You want a host, remote or touchscreen upgrade
Inventory model numbers and software, confirm licensing and the supported upgrade path, then define installation, configuration and training.
Will a Savant takeover require a complete replacement?
Not necessarily. A serviceable network, speakers, displays or other compatible equipment may remain. The assessment identifies immediate repairs, optional upgrades and any components that cannot support the requested functions.
Your assessment leads to a written plan: equipment inventory, the problems being addressed, reusable components, required hardware or software, programming responsibilities and the functions to be tested. Diagnostic charges and availability are confirmed when scheduling.
New Savant systems
Map the rooms, audio zones, television sources and daily scenes before selecting the host and interfaces. The written scope separates hardware, cabling, network equipment, programming and owner training.
Savant upgrades and repair
Inspect the existing host and software version, network, remotes and connected devices. Confirm the current upgrade path and which components remain compatible before quoting changes. Test source switching, audio zones and everyday scenes after the work.
Miami homes, condominiums and renovation projects
For a Brickell condominium, start with the available rack space, building work windows and the wiring that can actually be reached. For a Coconut Grove residence, review indoor and outdoor audio zones, network coverage and service access before expanding the system.
Miami Beach condominium and waterfront-home work
A Miami Beach upgrade may need to fit around a completed condominium interior or an occupied waterfront house. Review the equipment closet, ventilation, existing wiring and building access first. Plan room-by-room commissioning so the owner knows which entertainment and control functions are included.
Takeovers of systems installed by others
Start with equipment identification, access credentials, available documentation and a list of the failures or changes you want addressed. We assess what remains useful, explain support limitations and quote repair, expansion or replacement. The scope includes documentation and an owner handoff.

Frequently asked questions
Can you upgrade Savant without replacing everything?
Often some equipment can remain, but the answer depends on the installed host, software, interfaces and connected devices. We inspect the system and identify what stays, what changes and which functions will be tested before you approve an upgrade.
Can you work in a condominium?
Yes, subject to the building’s access and work requirements. We review wiring routes, equipment space and scheduling with the project team before defining the scope. Unit systems and building-wide systems are treated as separate responsibilities.
What should I send before the visit?
Send the property city, a description of the project or failures, equipment photos if available, and any drawings or system documentation you own. Share passwords through an agreed secure process rather than a general contact-form message.
Do you support the system after installation?
Yes. We define the support and maintenance scope for the installed equipment, including any planned visits, documentation and remote-service options. Coverage, response arrangements and included work are set out in the service agreement.
